China's newsprint output fell 4.0% on year to 407 thousand metric tons in March, the National Bureau of Statistics said, as Dow Jones Newswires informed Lesprom Network.
Production between January and March fell 8.2% to 1.08 million tons. Paper and paper-board production in March rose 2.7% to 7.46 million tons. Between January and March, such output fell 0.2% to 18.87 million tons.
Plywood output in March reached 11.03 million cubic meters, up 12.2%, while production in the first three months of the year reached 25.29 million cubic meters, up 9.7%.
